Our Local Charity Partner

TSS Immigration has recently teamed up with FareShare to rescue food and fight hunger.

FareShare is a food charity with a difference. It doesn’t just distribute food to needy families, it takes rescued meat, produce and other foodstuffs – that would otherwise have gone to landfill – and turns it into a million delicious and nutritious meals a year.

Old Man and Food
Another Happy Customer

It does this all in its Abbotsford kitchen (the largest charity kitchen in Australia) with the help of around 600 volunteers who work tirelessly during the day, after hours and on weekends to prepare meals.

TSS Immigration is pleased to announce that it has begun a formal partnership with FareShare, to assist its growth and help feed even more people in need.

Director Will Aldous said that TSS Immigration's links into a range of local sectors – particularly the food and restaurant industries – means it has a lot to offer a Not For Profit organisation like FareShare. “As a team, we have already assisted FareShare with introductions, provision of goods and services, as well as assisting to develop and refine strategic planning initiatives,” said Aldous. “We hope to continue and expand this work in the coming years.”

Mr Aldous said that the partnership was grounded in a strong desire by the company to give back to the community in a way that had a real impact. “This year TSS Immigration commenced our 10th year of business. We have grown into one of Australia’s most respected offshore recruitment and immigration practices with a large stable client base,” said Aldous.

“We wanted to share our success by helping to assist others in the community, who happen to be less fortunate than ourselves.” “In looking for a charitable organisation to support, it was important for our team to align ourselves with something local, that was dynamic, interactive, an organisation that really makes a difference every day, and with parallels to our core business.” “In FareShare, we found a young dynamic management team, who are open to new ideas and strategies to enable them to grow and keep doing what they are already doing very well.”

FareShare CEO Marcus Godinho said the partnership had already proven to be hugely valuable to FareShare, and lead to other beneficial partnerships.

“FareShare receives no government funding so relies on the assistance of partners from across the community,” said Godinho. “I cannot speak highly enough of the enthusiasm that TSS Immigration has shown in their efforts to help us. We can only hope this partnership continues long into the future.”
